Charlotte Street Foundation; Kansas City, Missouri; Internship Gallery Assistant - October 2013 - December 2013

Worked alongside the Gallery Manager in an energetic and creative environment.  Troubleshooting installation, lighting, and electrical work for gallery showings. Implemented tools and procedures to meet technical requirements for painting, repairing, and installing work.  Prepared gallery for opening reception of curated show, “We’ll Make Out Better Than OK”.

 

Coki Bijoux Jewelry Design Boutique; Kansas City, Missouri; Internship- May 2013 - Aug. 2013

Successfully resolved a range of complex design issues.  Clearly communicated updates and concerns to the owner.  Worked alongside the owner in an energetic and creative environment.  Created a series of rough sketches of jewelry designs for review, revision and approval.  Implemented tools and procedures to meet technical and design requirements for creating jewelry.  Designed booklets, posters, and postcards for advertising events using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.  Contributed to jewelry design and implementation.  

Band Wagon Merch & Screenprinting Press; Kansas City, Missouri; Seamstress - June 2011- Jan. 2013

Hoypoloi Gallery; Chicago, Illinois; Gallery Sales Team Member, - Jan. 2011- May 2011

Installation and curating of fine art sculptures and paintings.  Developed an intimate knowledge of artists and their works that were featured within the gallery.  Established a consistent visual direction for gallery organization and display.  Worked alongside the entire gallery team in an energetic and creative environment.  Collaborated with a creative team to complete projects on tight deadlines.
